BACKGROUNDJason Franklin lost his battle with CTE (Chronic traumatic encephalopathy) on July 14th, 2018. To honor him, we have established the "I Got You" foundation. One of Jason's favorite saying's was "I Got You." He was always there for his friends and family. We all knew that Jason "got" us. So, we knew it would be the perfect name for our foundation. We would continue his legacy by making sure those in need had someone who could say "I Got You" to them. Each May 6th (Jason's birthday) we spend the day trying to help others… trying to show them that there are people out there that “got them” and are there to help get them through their day. We deliver money, clothes, food, personal care items and toys to homeless shelters, to individual homeless people we encounter on the streets, to food banks, to animal rescue organizations, to senior care centers, to veteran care centers and to many other charitable organizations. Each year we stop and wish Jason a happy birthday in the middle of our day and let him know that we are keeping his spirit alive. Thank you Jason for giving us a way to both honor you and make your birthday a happy day for so many going forward.
